Superstar!

Audrey loves to pose as a superstar. She starts off laying on her back, she'll then grab my fingers, and I'll pull her up and say, "Superstar!" As you can see in the picture she then smiles and giggles.

My Buddy!

This is Audrey's buddy Nathan. They are 36 hours apart. I actually experienced my first set of contractions during my visitation at the hospital for Nathan's birth. I guess Audrey couldn't wait to meet him. They have a play date once a week mainly for the parents to get together, but they always enjoy looking at each other. So far Audrey hasn't been too nice to Nathan. She has made him cry twice, once by clawing his lip as she was reaching out for him and once by her loud shrieks which startled him. But overall they are usually mesmerized when they see each other. Love at first site! =)

Audrey's Baptism

Since I have been a slacker and didn't create this blog until Audrey was 5 months. I thought I might add some big events that occurred prior to the blog for example her baptism. If you click on the following link, you can view a photo album of her baptism. She was baptized on Dec. 10, 2006 at Saint Margaret Mary. She did very well. As Father said while pouring the oil over her head, it was just like another hair washing for her.


Her godparents are Bridget and Bence Roemer. Bridget is a childhood friend of mine. We met in second grade at St. Athanasius, went to Assumption together, remained friends through college, were each others' maids of honor at our weddings, and now are experiencing motherhood together as she is expecting a baby girl, Addison. Yeah=) Bence of course was a nice addition. Josh and Bence became good buds due to my friendship with Bridget. You might want to pay attention to the name Bence Roemer, as he may be the next Lance Armstrong in the triathlon world. He is quite the athlete. Go Bence!
