On Monday Audrey turned the switch on and started babbling. It was music to my ears. I love listening to her. She says ba, ba, ba, ba and dah, dah, dah. She also likes to grunt and make her face turn red. I thought she was trying to fill her diaper at first, but no it is just a sound she enjoys making. She also laughs at herself when she sneezes. It is so cute!
OTHER UPDATES... She has also become quite the little piggy. She is eating 2, 4 0z. jars of food plus several ounces of formula at her meals. She took 10 ounces of formula for her snack the other day. I think she must be going through a growth spurt. She loves bananas and sweet potatoes.
She is trying to figure out how to crawl, but I think she has a little ways to go before she figures that out.

Sunday at the Freeman Farm
On Sunday, we went to see Mamaw and Papaw Freeman because Papaw Freeman's sister drove in from Florida. Great Aunt Wilda loved her niece Audrey and just couldn't stop smiling at her. She said she was happy to finally have a little girl in the family since she had all boys and a grandson. Her son, Charlie who lives near Lake Barkley, came in as well. He is seen sitting on the sofa with Audrey.
First Zoo Trip
When the weather was beautiful last week, Audrey and her buddies Nathan and Keaton went to the zoo. It was Audrey's first trip. I was so excited for her. I couldn't wait for her to see the elephants and giraffes. I thought they would be big enough to entice her. Naturally the elephants weren't out and the giraffes were in the back of their exhibit. They were too young to enjoy the animals, but thankfully the playground at the zoo saved the day. The boys enjoyed swinging while Audrey took a snooze. She did wake up and swing a bit herself.
