Babysitter Hired

I am happy to report that Audrey has a new buddy. Josh and I ran in the Anthem 5K on Saturday and needed a sitter for Audrey. We recruited our friend Jody, who accepted the task graciously even though the job started at 7 am. The only people that have watched Audrey have been grandparents, so I didn't know how things would go. But Audrey greeted Jody with a big smile and the rest was history. They played, Audrey napped, and refused to eat, a typical day in the life of Audrey. Thanks Jody! We'll be calling again! I think she will say Auntie Jody before Auntie Jena.

Sunny Daze

It was such a beautiful day today. Audrey and I had to get out of the house. So we went on a walk. I was so excited to take her because I put her in her stroller without the carrier for the first time. I thought this would be quite exciting for her to see all of the new surroundings. We didn't get more than probably two city blocks from our house and she was asleep. Oh well, I still enjoyed the sunny and warmer day=)
